Twelve Prospecting Tips

Twelve Prospecting Tips

1. One of the first mistakes everyone makes in Prospecting is trying to find that one "perfect" Recruit, and you overlook the other nine who would also been "good" in this business.  "Never Judge A Book By It's Cover!"

2. Different people have different qualities. We need to be constantly looking & listening for those qualities that could make someone a GREAT Agel team member. Don't look for someone who is "Mr or Miss Perfect". Nobody is perfect, but everyone can develop the qualities they need to succeed. Encourage the fine qualities that the person does have.

3. Talk Prospecting to everyone, but don't try to recruit everyone. There is a difference. Try to look for people who are outgoing, ambitious, fun-loving, and who have a sense of creativity. People who are like this are easier to Recruit and they are more likely to stay with your business.

4. Never recruit with the idea of "what's in it for me". Always be willing to help people with this great opportunity. After all someone offered it to you. This Agel business opportunity is a GIFT!

5. Don't wait for someone to approach you. Nine times out of ten, they won't.

6. Prospects are everywhere you go. Just Listen!

7. Listen to their needs and show how AGEL could change their life. For instance, if someone needs extra income and wants a job, don't tell them about the top income earners or Prizes,  Chances are they won't believe you, simply because they can't relate to it. Respond with the information they need to know. Keep it simple, personalise it. (this goes back to listening!)

8. Anytime you find the qualities we look for in a team member, tell them about how they would benefit AGEL. They would not even be aware of it.

9. Look for someone who smiles and can get along with people, one who loves the products and believes that AGEL is the best. Sampling is critical.

10. Always let them see how easy it is to be a team member with AGEL.
Keep things simple! But make it look like a job that can be developed into a career.  Whether they want to work full-time or part-time, they can choose the type of lifestyle they want to have.

11. Take a prospect with you to a presentation (PBR/ABB/PGA Information session). Let them actually see how it all works and show them your success. If you made it look hard, it is over but if it looks easy, they will want to be a part of it.

12. Listen to the person who loves everything, can't afford much, and is looking for a job, bored, and/or wanting something to do because their children are grown or they want to stay home with their children. Please don't bypass people who have careers now; for these are the people who want to work and make something of their lives.
