The Secret of Creating Great Wealth…

I'm writing you from Frankfurt, Germany, where it's a little cool for my taste. It's the last stop on another around the world trip, going through all 24 time zones.

So the stop in Germany during winter isn't really a surprise.

Much more shocking is the fact that in January and February, I went to Omaha, Houston, Indianapolis, and Madison, Wisconsin.

People who know me, know that I simply don't go to cold places in the wintertime. I don't even go home to visit my family for Christmas, as my poor mother can attest. So what gives?

I'm travelling to these places, to build my investment portfolio.

In fact, I am actually increasing my stake in these investments, not just in the cold places, but some steamy ones like Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, which I just left. By increasing my involvement in these investments, I am determining how high my income will be five, 10, and even 30 years from now.

The type of investments I have made may surprise you. Although I love real estate, I haven't bought any on this trip. Although there are some lucrative opportunities on some of the stock exchanges in these countries, I didn't buy any stocks or bonds.

And while I'm a big believer in gold and precious metals, I didn't pick up any of those either.

The investment I have found produces higher rates of return than any of these things. Returns so high, they are almost staggering. Better than diamonds, or land, or new tech companies, a small stake in this investment can provide true residual income for decades. Residual income at an extraordinary level. Yet this investment isn't even on the radar screen of the vast majority of investors, and never mentioned in the business press.

So what am I investing in?

Leaders! Because I know that network marketing leaders are the most powerful investment in the world. A few hours invested in a potential leader can pay off for years, and a few months investment can pay you dividends for life.

The best part of all this is that your investment pays back in many ways other than the astonishing financial return. You will also get to see a lot of other interesting places, and you will develop wonderful, enriching friendships that add real value to your life.

I am always shocked by how many people in the business fail to invest in leaders. Especially long distance ones.

A year ago I flew to Auckland to do a meeting for a grand total of nine people. That number included my leader there and me. But one year later to the day, and we had over 150 people for my meeting. More importantly, many more leaders.

>From there I went to Melbourne, Australia, where I connected

with Rob and Nicky Horkings, my top leaders down under. We had 500 of our leaders and potential leaders from the Asia Pacific region fly in for a 3-day leadership conference.

>From there, Nicky flew on to work with the leaders in Sydney.

Rob and I flew to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where one of our Aussie leaders assured us he had some strong potential leaders.

They turned out a room of 670 people, of which 4/5th's were prospects!

>From there, Rob went on to work with a developing team in

Penang, Nicky went to Brisbane, and I travelled on to Singapore.

Now I'm in Frankfurt, and Rob went on to Brunei.

I'll go home, then a few days after that I'll be in Puerto Rico.

The following week I do a tour through Canada. This kind of travel costs a lot of money.

My ticket for this trip is over nine grand. The three cities in Canada will run $2,500. Throw in taxi's, $30 room service breakfasts, and tips for those money-grubbing bellhops , and you can see it can really add up. Yet I do this at every opportunity.

Why?

Because it is the best investment I could ever make. And probably the best investment YOU could ever make.

I can honestly say that just the new guests who have signed up at the meetings I've done this trip have produced at least an extra $100,000 in volume this month. Minimum, and likely quite a bit more.

The extra commissions I earn on that volume will wash out the money I've spent on the trip. More importantly, many of those new people will continue to produce volume that I will earn on for many years to come. But much more important than that – is the time I get to work with my leaders, and groom new ones.

It never ceases to amaze me how much prodding it takes to get someone to get on a plane and work with their long distance lines. It is one of the areas I have to constantly encourage people to act.

So what about YOU?

Are you investing in your leaders? Grooming the leaders of tomorrow?

It could start with something as simple as giving a positive book to a new distributor. Sometimes it's driving four or five hours to work with someone in another town. And often it means getting on an airplane and flying halfway around the country – or the world, to help develop a new leader.

Think of your business as a leadership factory. Your job every month is to churn out more leaders. And then teach those leaders how to churn out more of their own.

The great news is that once you do this, you are setting the example, which will be duplicated in your group. And once you have really built this culture in your group, that's where true wealth is created.

Have a great week!
